Laptop/guitar duo based in Lyon, France, .cut starts in 1992 as a distorted electronics solo project.
The guitarorist gibet first joined .cut for a semi-improvised show at the Kaf Myzik in Lyon in january 2003.
Since then their "industrial post-rock" has been compared to Merzbow, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai, Psychic TV and Cabaret Voltaire.
